Checkers & Rally’s ‘take it to Philly’
Is it Philly Cheesesteak Season or something? Is there even such a thing? This is the third Philly Cheesesteak special we’ve featured here at Fast Food Week in as many editions. C&R’s is headlining Philly Cheesesteak Burgers and Bacon Philly Loaded Fries for a limited time.

Hippeas and Grillo’s partner on Pickle Puffs
Healthy snack start-up Hippeas has joined with Pickle guys Grillo’s on new Pickle-flavoured Chickpea Puffs. They’re billed as ‘gluten-free and vegan, providing 3 to 4 grams of protein per serving and 3 grams of fiber. Made with Chickpea flour ‘from sustainably grown chickpeas that are nut, dairy, and soy allergen-free’.

Door Dash and Klarna ‘finance’ Fast Food
‘Eat now,pay later’. That’s the basic idea behind the new ‘instant loan’ deal under which Door Dash customers can finance their food deliveries ‘on the spot’. Swedish-based Klarna says it’s not a credit card. And it’s not as intrusive as other digital payment methods. But you do have agree to pay for your order in 4 installments – which will be taken from the bank or card account of your choice automatically.
