Margaret James is a seasoned journalist with more than 50 years experience in print and radio.
Her career has spanned the full range of reporting assignments, from ‘cub’ reporter to Parliament Hill Correspondent for the former CHUM Radio Network. She also founded and served as managing editor of MONITOR magazine, a regional consumer technology magazine.
Maggie’s interests range widely, from Politics and Economics, to Sustainability and Climate Change… And, of course, to Food – and the overarching role it plays in all our lives.
Maggie and her sister, Erin, are both certified classically trained Chefs. After completing their formal instruction, they provided catering and personal chef services for a select clientele in the Greater Ottawa, Ontario Region.
Now in semi-retirement, Maggie spends a certain amount of her time on her favourite activities – cooking and eating. And devotes another slice of her day to keeping a hand in her profession, posting to and maintaining the Fabulous Food Blog.
