Maggie has been chronicling the high points of global food news in this space since 2011. Her original vision was to create a permanent resource for serious cooks of all stripes, covering food, cooking, nutrition, health and well-being issues.
But when COVID struck, in early 2020, Maggie caught the bug – the ‘politics’ bug. Remember the contro-versy surrounding the lock-down, and the ruinous affect it had on the hospitality industry? Remember all the hubbub surrounding US President Donald Trump’s statements and suggestions about meeting the COVID Challenge? Who could resist commenting?
Ever evolving…
Today, the FFB has evolved far beyond its initial intentions. Instead of one post a day, Monday to Friday, it drops two (sometimes three) new posts a day, plus weekend special features Fast Food Week (Saturdays), and Sunday Musings.
We hope you enjoy our posts. Even more, we hope you feel informed and maybe even educated by them. But most of all, we like to think that reading our posts has moved you to explore the links therein and dive deeper into the amazing world of Food!
