Taco Bell offers full-service weddings in Vegas

Taco Bell is offering a full-service wedding package for (US)$600 at its flagship Cantina location in Las Vegas. The package includes:

  • A ceremony in the chapel inside the restaurant with an ordained officiant within as little as four hours
  • Private area for a reception inside the restaurant with up to 15 of your closest family and friends
  • Custom merchandise, including a sauce packet garter and bow tie, “Just Married” t-shirts for the bride and groom, Taco Bell branded champagne flutes and, of course, a Taco 12 Pack filled with tacos and a Cinnabon Delights cake for dessert
  • A Sauce Packet bouquet is also available for the bride to use during the ceremony

No mention of the usually-obligatory Elvis impersonator – unless the officiant…

Dunkin’s Iced Coffee now bottled in stores

In a rush? Still want the good, old familiar hit you get from your Dunkin Donuts Iced Coffee? Now, you can get it bottled, to take out and/or take home at kiosks in Dunkin’s shops and thousands of other retailer stores. It’s seen as a response to the recent move by Starbuck’s to bottle their best…

McD’s testing Crab Meat Sandwich, Honey-Sesame Fries

McDonald’s, in its endless attempts to stay ahead of the game on the sandwich front, is test-marketing Crab Meat Sandwich at a few selected stores. Wasn’t it just last year that everybody was offering Lobster Rolls? Ho-hum…

Meanwhile, McD’s Japan is also testing Honey-Sesame Fried. A honey Sauce with Black Sesame Seeds on the usual fried. In Japan, they call them ‘College Fries’, because (legend has it) that the dish was created by hungry, impoverished college kids…

All-Day Breakfast Club gets a member

Carl’s Junior is not offering All-Day Breakfast, in response top the other major Fast Food players who have jumped on that bandwagon over the past couple of years. It’s offering its venerable Breakfast Burger – with Bacon, Eggs, Hash Brown Rounds, a charbroiled Beef Patty, American Cheese and Ketchup – all day.

Meanwhile, in Paris…

Burger King France is now offering what it calls an Egg Burger featuring one or two Beef Patties, Bacon, Barbecue Sauce, Mayo, Tomatoes, Cheese, Crispy Onions, and a Fried Egg on a cornmeal-dusted Bun. A little too much for breakfast, maybe?
