Burger King brings back French Toast Breakfast Sammy
Burger King is recycling its popular French Toast Breakfast Sandwich, for a limited time at participating locations. It’s a hearty breakfast, featuring your choice of bacon, sausage or ham, on a pair of French Toast slices, topped with a folded egg, a slice of American (processed) cheese, and a schmear of a new maple spread. You’re not halucinating: the FTBS was last sighted back in 2019, and is back in the rotation pretty quickly…
Little Caesars offers EMB Pizza deal
LC is offering its ExtraMostBestest Thin Crust Pizza for a limited time at a special price. The ExtraMostBestest Thin Crust Pizza features a large, crispy, flaky-thin crust topped with pizza sauce, mozzarella and Muenster cheeses, and extra pepperoni. During the promotion, it’s available during Hot N Ready hours (4 to 8 p.m.) and at other times on the usual make-one-just-for-you basis.
Arby’s adds Crinkle-Cut Fries
Arby’s is offering new Crinkle-Cut fries as a permanent addition to its main menu. They’re suggested as a swap-out for regular Arby’s signature-seasoned Curly Fries. You can still get Arby’s Potato Cakes, too.
Tostitos rolls out new Habañero Spicy Corn Chips
We said ‘rolls out’ on purpose to underline that they’re round chips flavoured with hot Habañero peppers. Tostitos suggests serving them with cooling, soothing Guacamole dip. The new hotties are the latest addition to the Rounds lineup, which also includes: Tostitos Hint of Guacamole, Tostitos Bite Size, Tostitos Crispy Rounds, Tostitos Sabritas Salsa Verde, and Tostitos Hint of Spicy Queso flavours. Looks like a permanent addition…
7-Eleven pumping Holiday Peeps
It’s actually Bright yellow Peeps marshmallow-flavoured latteé, and it’s just one item on a new, limited-time Easter treats menu which also includes: 7-Eleven also offers several limited-time, spring and/or Easter-themed, 7-Select cookies, snacks, and candies, including: Giant, frosted shortbread cookies in spring-themed designs; ‘Fly with Me’ butterfly-shaped and ‘Blossom’ flower-shaped mini-gummies; Salty pretzels covered in strawberry-flavored coating; and Sandwich creme cookies in Carrot Cake, Pineapple Upside Down Cake, and Banana Cream Pie flavors. At participating stores, while supplies last.
SONIC brings back Red Bull Slushes
It’s still a little early in the season, but SONIC is bringing back its popular Red Bull (RB)-based Slushes, this summer, headlined by new Dragon Fruit flavour. Regular RB Slush is mixed with regular Red Bull, and Red Bull Dragon Fruit (DF) mixes RBDF with regular slush.Both are available through August 29, and can also be ordered for half-price anytime through the Sonic app, or during Happy Hour from 2 to 4 PM daily.
AND… BK France gives our Free Potatoes
BK France bought up some 200 tonnes of potatoes destined for the foodservice industry when there occurred a glut in the French potato crop last year. The idea was to support French potato farmers, who are indispensable to French Fast Food purveyors. Now. BK is ‘giving back to the community’ by giving away 3 kg / 6.6 kg bags of beautiful spuds to customers using their drive-thru lanes. The King Fries Maison program is intended to carry on the French government’s campaign, during the glut, to encourage customers to cook more potatoes at home.
