Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich back to stay
Remember a few weeks back, when Popeye’s débuted its first Chicken Sandwich (see picture at top of page) – and sold out in under 4 hours? The whole escapade went viral. Now, the Chicken chain has announced it will start selling its new Sammys again tomorrow, November 3, and this time they’ll have lots of Chicken and Buns in stock. Cue the round-the-block linups at Popeye’s locations across the continent.

Great timing for Popeye’s re-launch of its Chicken on a Bun. And, as one food blogger remarked, even better since competitor Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sundays. So get out there and patronize your favourite Sandwich Shop tomorrow. Or, stay home and make up a platter of your own favourites!
Wendy’s offers 2 For $5 deal
The other major Burger joints have offered similar deals from time to time, for a limited time, over the past few years. You can mix-and-match from a three-item menu including the Dave’s Big Single, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and the 10-Piece Chicken Nuggets box.
Little Caesar’s showcases ‘ExtraMostBestest’ Pie
Caesar’s has brought back what it officially calls the ‘ExtraMostBestest Thin Crust Pepperoni Pizza. It’s a standard Caesar’s Thin Crust loaded right to the edges with extra Cheese and extra Pepperoni. It’s available ‘Hot ‘N Ready’ from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Domino’s discounts to boost late night traffic
Domino’s is offering 20 percent off all regular menu items from 9 p.m. to closing at participating U.S. locations. Seems the Pizza giant is looking to boost late-night take-out sales. The deal extends all the way out to Sides, Chicken, Pasta, Sandwiches and Desserts. It’s a limited-time offer, and Domino’s has not said when it will expire. Fans should make their move early…
Panera adds new Cinnamon Spice treats
It’s officially ‘Cinnamon Season’ at Panera Bread, and the chain is celebrating with a list of new Drinks and Sweets. The new beverage selection includes a Cinnamon Spice Latté and a companion Cold Brew. Desserts include a Cinnamon Crunch Scone and an Apple Cinnamon Crunch Scone, plus an Apple Pie Almond Thumbprint Cookie. They’re available for a limited time only, of course.
