Juston Bieber seems to be grooming himself for a new career as a food critic. Recently, he ‘reviewed’ the notorious Popeye’s Chicken Sandwich calling it ‘Not worth the hype’. Now, he’s branded the new, improved Tim Horton’s Coffee cup lid ‘a damned outrage’ that needs to be changed back…
The Instagram Post that started it all…
Bieber got so worked up about the new coffee cup lids that he called on his 123 million Instagram followers to sign up to a poll about them:
“@timhortons I know they could leak but it was easier to drink out of.. the coffee would come out better.. these new lids are uncomfortable on the mouth, and you get very little liquid each drink it’s a damn outrage and needs to be changed back.”
And the Biebs got in a PC stroke complaining that the new lids are still plastic:
“Tbh it shouldn’t be plastic find a way to be recyclable. Let’s change the world 1 lid at a time.”
Too bad he didn’t take the time to read the manual. Horton’s quipped back:
“Hey @justinbieber thanks for your feedback. Sorry you aren’t loving our new lids, but the good news is that they’re made with 100% recyclable plastic. We’d love to have you join our team that’s working to make them even better! Dm us.”
Bieber finally relented, thanking TH’s for the effort to make the new lids recyclable.

Well, if Horton’s explanation to Bieber was good enough for him, I guess it’s good enough for me..
