McMorial in Iceland a ‘wonder’

…As in, I wonder why he did this? Or, I wonder ho0w the Food stayed so natural-looking? An enterprising man in southern Iceland, Hjortur Smarason, bought the last Burger and Fries sold by the chain in his country in 2009. Iceland was in the midst of a financial crisis and nobody was eating Fast Food. McD’s closed all its locations there, for good. While tourists go to Iceland in their thousands every year to view the unique terrain and the geothermal wonders, Smarason says many stop by his hostel, Snotra House, to see the McMeal, preserved in a glass box. You can also look in via the internet and Smarason’s webcam at snotrahouse.com to see if anything’s happened lately. Probably not. Smarason says o9nlt the cardboard Fries sleeve has deteriorated over the past ten years, and that only a little…

And that’s the skinny…

… On what’s going to be making some of us fatter over the impending holidays! See you back here in 7 for another edition of Fast Food News!
