Taco Bell encores its Bacon Club Chalupa

One ought to satisfy most normal appetites. But you can get them along side two two crunchy tacos and a large fountain drink in a new combo, too.

Jack Links, Doritos get cozy again

Jacks and chips giant Doritos have announced a new collab: Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Beef Jerky and Flamin’ Hot Beef Jerky. Their previous, maiden collab last year must have been mighty successful. In what some considered a pre-Yule stunt last December, Jacks offered a 10 lb. bag of Jerky. Not exactly a stocking stuffer – unless you’re Paul Bunyan!

Buffalo Wild Wings adds sauces for March Madness

Just in time to make your March Madness basketball binge more enjoyable, BWW is releasing 2 limited-edition sauces: Buffalo Ranch and Honey Garlic. Buffalo Ranch is described as, “spicy, buttery, and tangy,” while Honey Garlic is characterized as, “sweet and savory.” For a limited-time, at participating BWW locations.

Wendy’s Chili has long been a favourite in its own restos. Now the stuff, which I admit is a fave of mine, will début in grocery stores later this year.

We assume it will appear in its familiar original flavour with the possibility of variants emerging down the road. It will come in convenient 15 oz. / 426 ml. cans – just right for a single portion or a hearty snack.

Dole Whip breaks out, into supermarkets

The heavenly stuff kids and adults vising Disney parks and resorts couldn’t get enough when it first appeared a few years back will be delighted to see it hitting the grocery stores this spring.

The initial flavour slate will include Mango, Pineapple and Strawberry. The stuff brags, righteously, that it’s made with real fruit and contains no artificial ingredients.

Starbucks spring lineup features Cinnamon

The big-deal limited-time lead slurp is, in fact, Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew. “Taking inspiration from salted caramels and gooey sticky buns, the new Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew is a lovely balance of decadent baking flavors with a delicate and creamy cold foam topping that seamlessly blends into the coffee with each sip,” the news release enthuses…

SunnyD intros Hard Seltzer

Yup. You read right. The folks who popularized a breakfast orange drink for kids with almost no real orange in it have come out with a Vodka-based hard seltzer. SunnyD execs said many fans had called for the new product remarking that they often used SunnyD as a mixer or a chaser for their vodka. Just be sure the kids don’t get the hard stuff mixed up with the tradition l stuff!

And that’s the skinny…

… On what’s going to be making some of us a little fatter through St. Paddy’s Day and the March Madness season. See you back here in 7 for the next edition of fast Food Week!
