Little Caesar newstalgizes original slogan
Back when it fist opened Little Caesar’s rode out on the slogan ‘Pizza! Pizza!’ because it Featured ‘two-for’ deals. Now it’s newstalgizing with a Two-Single-Topping-Pizzas-for-$4.99-each deal.
A couple of catches: The deal only applies top its round-crust pies, and you must use the code ‘PIZZAPIZZA’ when ordering. As often happens these days… it’s a buck more per pizza in some markets.
Jersey Mike’s reveals ‘Preganancy Sub’
And, no, you don’t have to be preggers to order it! It starts with Rosemary Parmesan bread, stacked with what’s essentially the No. 1 BLT (crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, made Mike’s Way (lettuce, tomato, onion, olive oil, red wine vinegar, salt, and oregano) with additional pickles, banana peppers, and chopped pepper relish. It’s gone viral. And fans are going bonkers over it…

Taco Bell pours new Confetti Cookie Freeze
It’s described as, “a vanilla cream soda slushy mixed with rainbow sprinkles, a pink sugar cookie-flavored syrup, and a swirl of vanilla creme (see photo, top of page). And it’s ‘Barbie’ Pink. Maybe a harbinger of Valentine’s Day, which is the next ‘major holiday’ to come yup on the calendar.
Dairy Queen and OREOs – Together again!
The Queen of Dairy and he King of Cookies are teaming up again – this time for a new Snowdrift Blizzard. It’s built on a blue cake batter-flavored soft serve base…
… Blended with Oreo chunks and a swirl of marshmallow fluff. The OREO Snowdrift is also DQ’s January Blizzard of the Month!
Starbuck’s presents: Cookies & Cream Hot Cocoa
It’s officially called Cookies & Cream Hot Cocoa. And it’s only available on Starbucks’ not-so-secret secret menu, which is only visible on the chain’s app. But you can order it ‘à la carte if you want to. Jut ask the barista for, “a Starbucks Hot Chocolate with four pumps of White Chocolate Mocha Sauce, Cookie Crumble Topping, and whipped cream.” It being billed as a treat especially for OREO lovers…

Arby’s adds Peach Cobbler Roll dessert
The guys who ‘have the meats’ are proving they also ‘have the desserts’. Arby’s has unveiled a new Peach Cobbler Dessert roll. It’s a rich filling consisting of stuffed with peaches, graham crackers, and bourbon vanilla cream, rolled-up in crispy pastry. They come 2 to an order.

Crayola and McDonald’s team up on creative Kids’ Meal
“Crayola has teamed up with McDonald’s for the first time on a global scale with a new Happy Meal experience to propel kids’ imagination into orbit and transform the universe into a canvas for cre-ativity,” The official news release trumpets. “The Happy Meal features an exclusive lineup of co-branded, space-themed activity kits and toys designed to encourage hands-on creative moments that the whole family can share.”
The limited-edition Planet McDonald’s Happy Meal is rolling out at participating McDonald’s rest-aurants in more than 60 countries in EMEA, the UK, Asia, and Canada, with availability varying by market through March 2026 while supplies last.

SNAP program Junk Food restrictions now in effect
Folks who receive the SNAP food benefit are just finding out how extensive the new ban on junk food they can buy with that money is. The restrictions came into effect at 12:01 am New Year’s Day. Accord-ing to ABC News, “It’s part of a push by Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Agriculture Secret-ary Brooke Rollins to urge states to strip foods regarded as unhealthy from the $100 billion federal program – long known as food stamps – that serves 42 million Americans.”
Tim Horton’s reveals its to sellers of 2025
Tim’s has long been Canada’s leading grab-and-go coffee and everything source. Now, it’s revealing is top selling menu items of last year. The most common coffee order was the Tims’ classic Double Double, while the iconic Iced Capp was the top cold beverage order.
The top doughnut was the Apple Fritter, and Chocolate Glazed was Canada’s favourite Timbits flavour.
