Hardee’s reprises Cinnamon ‘N’ Raisin and Candied Bacon
For the Holidays, of course. The biscuit made a comeback last yuletide after a 20-year hiatus. It was so popular, they’ve brought it back again this year. On the way to becoming an annual tradition.
The Bacon is described as, “candied with caramelized brown sugar, and sprinkled with a bit of black pepper.” Another perennial fave – that shows up only now and then in the ‘limited-time’ rotation…

Barrilitos Mexican sodas coming back to US
Many a ‘kid’ who grew up in southern California back before the Millennium will remember fondly Barrilitos fruit-flavoured soft drinks. Well, Coca Cola bought our the brand back in 2008 and carried it on south of the border. And now, in response to fan demand – Barrilitos is coming back to the US.
“Barrilitos is evolving to meet the needs of a new generation, without losing sight of its rich history. This relaunch is an invitation to experience Barrilitos and celebrate its heritage in a whole new way”, said Maria Correa, Barrilitos Brand Lead.

Uncrustables the unofficial official sandwich of the NFL
Insiders report that NFL players consume more than 80,000 Uncrustables crustless sandwich snacks a season. That’s according to an ‘exit poll’ conducted by staff of the trash bins in NFL locker rooms, which are ‘filling up with Uncrustables wrappers’. The Denver Broncos, for example, apparently lead the Uncrustables League with 700 sandwiches consumed each week. The Seattle Seahawks come in second with 320 sandwiches…
And that’s the skinny…
… On what’s going to be making some of us more ‘well-rounded’ over the days and weeks to come. See you back here in 7, for the next Festive Feast edition of Fast Food week…
