Wendy’s unveils new breakfast choices…
Wendy’s is enhancing it’s breakfast menu with the addition of a new Sausage Breakfast Burrito and a $3 English Muffin deal. The burrito starts with a flour tortilla and fills it with a grilled sausage patty, fresh-cracked eggs, the chain’s Seasoned Potatoes, American (Processed) cheese, and cheese sauce. It’s apparently a new permanent menu addition.
The Muffin deal features your choice of choice of either a Bacon, Egg & Cheese English Muffin or a Sausage, Egg & Cheese English Muffin and a small order of Seasoned Potatoes. At participating locations.

Wendy’s is also offering a mammoth 50-piece Chicken ‘Nuggs’ Party Pack! A great bring-along for any summer outing. The NPP is a ‘nothing but nuggets box or bucket. Available in selcted markets only. Burger King rolls out new Philly Melt

Del Taco encores Birria
Folks loved it the first time around. This time, DT is prepared for any eventuality with big stocks of the makings. It’s available in Tacos, Burritos Quesadillas and even Ramen. Shredded Beef Birria Grilled Combo Burrito features beans, cheddar cheese, green sauce, onions, and chopped cilantro, wrapped in a flour tortilla and grilled.

Hardee’s is baking up special, limited-time Blueberry Biscuits. They’re tantalizingly billed as “warm, fluffy,” and “loaded with blueberry flavor.” I’d take a plateful of these over a blueberry muffin anytime! They’re available now through September 2.
Del Taco reprises Nacho Cheese specialties
DT is bringing back its popular Naco Cheese snack specialties for a limited time. You can get back in tune with Macho Fries (piled with beans and your choice of meats), Nacho Cheese Fries or Tortilla Chips and Cheese Sauce for dipping.
There’s also a new dessert treat: Funnel Cake Fries, which are sticks of Funnel Cake batter shaped like fries and dusted with powdered sugar.

McDonald’s celebrates Grandmothers
McD’s is making what observers call a ‘shoutout to Grandmas’ with its new, limited-time Grandma McFlurry. It’s described as based on vanilla soft serve, with a delicious syrup and chopped, crunchy hard candy pieces. Krispy Kreme spotlights Dolly Parton
KK is busy rolling out its new Dolly Southern Sweets Collection. It comes in a distinctive DP themed box and includes 4 special sinkers:
… the Dolly Dazzler; The Peachy Keen Cobbler; the Banana Puddin’ Pie; and the Chocolate Cream Pie. In 6- and 12-piece boxes, for a limited time.
Burger King unveils new Mozzarella Fries
They’re actually breaded, fried Mozzarella sticks, served in a traditional cardboard fry sleeve. Each order comes with marinara Sauce for dipping. BK bills the new treat as, “the Mozzarella Sticks you love, now made to enjoy on the go.”
Pink Lemonade Kit Kat blooms for summer
It’s a pink-frosted (with hints of strawberry), lemon cream-filled version of the timeless wafer bar. And it’s intended to complement the lazy, hazy days of summer.
Actually, it’s an update of the Lemon Crispy bar the brand launched for Easter. Arriving in stores now, for a limited time.
Pringles blasts out new Minecraft collab
It’s called Minecraft Spicy TNT Favour, and it’s part of the video game’s 15th anniversary celebration. The official announcement says the new flavour delivers, “the same fiery energy” of TNT from Minecraft. For those not familiar with the game, Pringle’s explains: “Layers of spicy peppers and cheesy goodness.” It’s the chip maker’s second annual Minecraft collab.
Ben & Jerry’s goes retro for summer
B&J’s is offering a special treat for cone lovers. It’s a waffle cone dipped in caramel and chunky salt, for a taste of summers past.
The store suggests you pair it with a scoop or two of Impretzively Fudged chocolate-pretzel ice cream for, “the ultimate sweet-and-salty treat.”
Novelties
Burger King France ups the onion ante
BK is offering French fans a new burger called Le Full Onion. The name’s an odd mix of French and English, but not, I’m advised, an uncommon practice in the French Fast Food sector. It’s Full by name and Full by nature…
The single beef patty is topped with a slice of American (Processed) cheese, and stacked with every form of onion BK has on hand: crispy-fried onion rings, caramelized onions, fresh onions, and crispy onions. Both halves of the bun are slathered with classic whole-grain French mustard.
