Arby’s serves up Duck Breast hunting season special

The folks who insist ‘We’ve Got The Meat’ have scoped the competition again, with a new limited time harvest/hunting season special: Duck Breast Sandwiches. The Sammy consists of a whole Duck Breast, Smoked Cherry Sauce, and Crispy Onions on the classic Arby’s Bun. Alas, not only is this special available for a limited time only, it’s only available at 16 selected locations across the U.S. See more about the special and get a list of locations at the Arby’s website.

Buffalo Wild Wings goes Enchilada style

Ask for ‘The Whole Enchilada’ and you’ll get them with with Extra Cheese, Green Onions sprinkled on top, and Sour cream on the side. Red Enchilada Wings are available now through the middle of next month.

…’Re-launches’ Party Packs

Taco Bell Party Packs are back – probably for a limited time, but not time limit is mentioned in the official announcement. You can get a Taco Party Pack (a selection of 12 crunchy or soft Tacos), a Taco Variety Pack (selection of 6 Crunchy or Soft Tacos and six Doritos Locos Tacos), or a Grande Meal (your choice of Bean Burritos, Soft Tacos, and Crunchy Tacos, 10 items total). Now through October 31, you get an additional 15 percent off any one Party Pack ordered through the app or online.

McDonald’s finally jumps into Cold Brew

McD’s is usually the leader, not a follower in the introduction of new menu items to the universal Fast Food menu. But, this time, it’s lagged behind other high-end Coffee purveyors in offering Cold Brewed Coffee. I’m betting it had something to do with the fact that they didn’t have equipment already installed at their outlets to make it. The Burger Monster chain is testing Cold Brew in 84 locations in the San Diego area. Customers can choose their preferred levels of Cream and sugar along with Flavour Shots including Vanilla, Caramel and Hazelnut.

And that’s the skinny…

…On what’s likely to make us all a little fatter right through the end of this month. I’ll be back in seven with another edition of Fast Food Week!
