New Chipotle Smoked Brisket: Now testing in Oho and Colorado…

It seems a little odd, to say the least, that a resto chain like Chipotle, which has gone through great adversity followed by a much-reported corporate re-imagining over the past few years, would at least appear to betray its key promises to shareholders and fans alike, but here we so… The chain is apparently test marketing Smoked Brisket (see photo, above) as a possible addition to their already growing list of meats. The resto now features chicken, steak, barbacoa, carnitas, sofritas, and carne asada on its regular menu and in limited time specials. Although that seems contrary to a commitment a year or so ago to streamline its menu and refocus on its core business of building some of the best Fast Food Burritos in the biz. The new Brisket is currently available at some 60+ locations in Cincinatti, OH, and Colorado.
Lee Kum Kee launches Noddle Bowls
Lee Kum Kee – whose name probably graces the bottle of Soy Sauce in your fridge – is raising its profile with a new line of Instant Noodle and Rice Bowls. The 8-iyrm menu features choices from among Asian (predominating), Mexican and Peruvian Bowls designed to upgrade and update the Noodle/Rice Bowl experience.; “a re-imagined twist on instant rice and noodles that celebrates traditional flavors in today’s modern kitchens.” Each selection takes less than three minutes to heat up in the microwave and is currently selling for under (US)$5.
Little Caesar’s offers Pepperoni Cheeser Deal
This one might well have been hyped as an Office Christmas Party special any other year, but during the COVID-19 era, it’s ore of a solo treat. Get a Pepperoni Cheeser Cheeser Pizza, a Crazy Combo (an order of Crazy Bread with Crazy Sauce for dipping) and a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi beverage for a cool (US)$10 bucks through January 3, 2021.
Free Wendy’s Baconator through December 27
You can get a free Wendy’s Breakfast Baconator (see photo, top of page) now through (almost) the end of the month when purchase any other breakfast entrér. The trick is to order through the resto’s smart phone app, where a special coupon can be found. The Breakfast Baconator stacks a ‘fresh-cracked’ egg, six strips of applewood-smoked bacon, a square sausage patty, two slices of American (processed) Cheese, and Swiss cheese sauce on a ‘premium’ bun. That’ll get almost anybody through to Lunch without needing elevenses.
Taco Bell Veggie Cravings Menu
It’s an online-only special Cravings offer that caters to Vegetarians with a list of 17 menu items. New items added to the list for this special the generally just drop the Meat from existing regular menu items that usually contain Meat, and sub-in Black Beans. a Pepperoni Cheeser Cheeser Pizza, a Crazy Combo (which is an order of Crazy Bread with Crazy Sauce for dipping) and a 2-liter bottle of Pepsi beverage. Ferrero Rocher has mammoth Holiday lineup
Remember when Ferrero Rocher (or, ‘Ferrero Rocks’ as a younger relative of mine once dubbed them) as the single product offered in Canada by the esteemed European Chocolate mass-marketer? This year, the company is offering a record 14 special packages and products for the Holidays, featuring assorted Kinder, Nutella, and Tic Tac products along with traditional seasonal packages of Ferrero’s signature Chocolate and Rice Crispy-coated Hazelnut confections.
Starbuck’s reprises Irish Cream Cold Brew
The premium Coffee Guys – who also brought Cold Brew to the masses a few years back – are offering their special Holiday Irish Cream Cold Brew for the Holidays, in the U.S. and Canada, ‘while supplies last’. The beverage starts with Starbucks Cold Brew coffee mixed with Irish Cream Syrup over ice, topped with vanilla sweet cream cold foam and a dusting of cocoa powder. Don’t miss it.
