You can get a subscription for a month’s worth of Small Coffees (one per day) at BK for just (US)$5, at participating locations until further notice. But you have to use the (relatively) new ordering app. A coupon appears each morning in your app once you’ve subscribed. The promo highlights the rebranding of BK’s coffee to ‘BK Café’. Sonic celebrates the official coming of Spring…
The drive-in with the Hedgehog mascot is bringing back its popular, Chocolatey Double Stuf Oreo Waffle Cone for a limited time. It starts with an OREO Chocolate Cookie Waffle Cone that’s coated on the inside with OREO Creme, filled with Vanilla Ice Cream, and topped with OREO Creme and OREO Cookie Crumbs.

Dairy Queen is marking the first day of Spring (Wednesday, March 20) as it always does, declaring it Free Cone Day and giving away free small Soft Serve Ice Cream Cones. You can get one per person, while supplies last, at non-mall DQs and DQ Grill & Chill locations. There’s also a deal offering Small Dipped DQ cones for just (US)$0.50 – but you have to order using the DQ online app.
Pizza Hut embraces ‘less is more’ philosophy
Lots of folks wait with great anticipation for Pizza Hut’s unique Cheesy Bites Crust Pizzas to come back each year. Now, they can simply order the Cheesy Bites by themselves and bypass the whole Pizza thing altogether. You get Garlic and Herb Dipping sauce with your order of 8 Bites. Alas, the deal is only available in the UK. But we sincerely hope they roll it out to the entire Hut chain.
McDonald’s Gives Australia Hot Cross Buns: Why just them?
McD’s is offering Australian fans Hot Cross Buns for Easter. (See picture top of page.) For those who don’t know, the distinctive, spicy Sweet Rolls are traditionally eaten to celebrate the end of Lent. But they were invented in England and are a seasonal favourite all over the Christian World. Why not offer them in The UK and North America, too? Lucky Aussies can order either a Fruit version, with Currents and Sultana Raisins, or a Chocolate Hip version. And they can be ordered toasted and buttered. Yum…
Heinz launches new Mayo-blend Sauces
Remember, about a year ago, when Heinz attempted to impress the world with Mayochup? It was simply a blend of Mayo and Ketchup in a squeeze bottle. Perfect for lazy, spoiled Millennials who couldn’t be bothered mixing their own. Well, it must have been embraced by that target audience, because Heinz has now released Mayocue and Mayomust Sauces, in which Mayo is blended with BBQ Sauce and and Mustard, respectively. Go figure.
