New Steak and Bacon Grilled Cheese at SONIC
Wow! Super Lunch! And what a lovely break from the usual ‘whatever on a bun’! The toasted Pullman-style bread (all square with equal crusts all sides;) really brings back memories of ‘diner days’ and cross-country train rides with Mom when I was little…
The bread, which is Texas-sliced, is generousy filled with: grilled steak, grilled onions, bacon, BBQ sauce, mayo, and melted American (Processed) cheese. The spicy version swaps out the BBQ sauce with a zesty cheese sauce and jalapeños. And… SONIC’s Pickle Fries are also back – for a limited time.
Taco Bell tests new $6 Craving Trios…
There are three of them, and they’re being test marketed now for a limited time in the Columbus, OH, area. You can get: a Crunchwrap Trio; a Cheesy Gordita Trio; or a Mexican Pizza Trio, each for just $6. The combos are topped of with Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos, and a medium fountain drink. So you’re saving about $3 on each combo over ordering all three items separately…

New dessert from Papa John’s
The world champion collab king, OREOs, is partnering with Papa John’s to bring you a unique sweet treat: jackets of Papa’s signature fresh Pizza Crust Dough enclosing blobs of crushed, mushed Original Chocolate OREOs – and a side of sweet icing for dipping!
Looks like you get a 9-piece box. Not sure what the price will be. Whatever they cost, they’re available to Papa’s Rewards members now, and will released across the chain to everybody on December 26.
Flamin’ Hot Tangy Chili Fusion Cheetos
They’re a treat for spicy lovers and a challenge for the rest of us: described as regular, original Cheetos snacks with, “notes of chili peppers, garlic, ginger, and citrus.” They’ll be available across the U.S., at the usual retail sources, early next month.

… And maybe the whole neighbourhood’s! Jack Links is a well-known brand of Jerky snacks and, as such, beloved by many. Now you can get a mammoth 10 lb. / 22.7 kg bag for ‘just’ 50 bucks. That’s 160 regular ‘recommended servings’ according to the label. And that’s an almost half a year’s supply, at one recommended serving a day.
