Jimmy John’s tackles ‘Boy Math’
‘Boy Math’ is a ‘thing’ invented by tikTok based on the wildely held belief that girls do better than boys at math. Food blogger Dylan Pavlik cites, as an example, “Boy Math is being afraid of dating a gold digger when you only have four pairs of socks in your drawer.” JJ’s is offering Boy Math Catering Bundles to make throwing a party easier for numerically challenged guys. Prices vary from region to region. Order in person or through the app. Oh – and girls can buy ’em, too.
Burger King gets spooky
BK is bringing back its Ghost Pepper Whopper and adding new Ghost Pepper Chicken Fries for the haunting season. The GP Whopper is described as: a flame-grilled beef patty, spicy queso, crispy-fried jalapeños, bacon, and ghost pepper cheese, on orange-colored bun with black sesame seed.
The Chicken Fries are the latest spicy version of BK’s popular Chicken Fries. Available in 4- 8 and 12-piece orders. Both GP menu items are available while supplies last. Check out the special GP entrée bundles premiering October 13.
Panera stacks, toasts Baguettes
The fancy-sandwich guys are adding three new versions of their high-profile Stacked Toasted Baguettes. Chose from among the Chicken & Pepperoni Mozzarella Melt, Chicken Green Goddess Caprese Melt, and Chicken Cordon Bleu Melt. These ‘all new’ Breakfast Tacos will appear on the menu next week (October 12). They look like pretty standard fare: scrambled eggs, shredded cheddar cheese…

Taco Bell is marking the 10th annual return of its famous Nacho Fries. The Bell is also offering, as options, certified vegan nacho sauce, and a new large-sized order. The Vegan Nacho sauce isn’t exactly new; it premiered alongside the Vegan Crunch Wrap in a test market exercise this past June.
Del Taco celebrates ‘Tacoberfest’
Del T is offering different deals for each day of each of the next three weeks. They’re also offering free delivery, starting on the same day through the end of the month, with any order of over $20 or more placed through the Del Yeah Rewards app. All that variety… They’re definitely out to get you back in the store as many times as possible!
Arby’s brings back Cheese Steaks
A major fall fave with Arby’s fans, the guys who ‘have the Meats’ are bringing back two versions: The Classic Cheese Steak (steak, caramelized onions, melted white American cheese, fire-roasted red and green peppers, and garlic aioli)…
The Bacon Ranch Cheese Steak (drops the garlic aioli, adds bacon and Parmesan Peppercorn Ranch). At participating locations across the US, while supplies last.
Apple Cider Doughnut Ice Cream
Baskin-Robbins is featuring new Apple Cider Doughnut Ice Cream as its October flavour of the month. Apple-cider-donut-flavored ice cream comes studded with apple-cider-flavored doughnut pieces, and swirled with cinnamon-sugar. B-R is also prepping a new Zombie Unicorn Cake for Hallowe’en.
Wendy’s Squirts Pumpkin Spice Frostys
Wendy’s is adding a new Pumpkin Spice Frosty for Fall. It’s a companion product to the chain’s Pumpkin Spice Frosty Cream Cold Brew.
Late to the annual Pumpkin Spice party, Wendy’s is still in time to reap the rewards now through the Holiday Season.
New Skittles Littles ‘easier to pop’
So they say. It’s a kind of lame justification for a contrived product variation obviously designed to get the brand higher consumer awareness in the Hallowe’en season. They’re dribbling out onto the market with full pan-US availability not expected until early next year. The selection of flavours is the same as for regular Skittles.
