Taco Bell’s Beefy Crunch Burrito returns

The Bell is once again partnering with Fritos to bring back the Beefy Crunch Burrito. Last Seen 5 years ago, the menu item was a notable hit with fans. Taco Bell Rewards members voted for its return in a recent contest. The thing starts with a soft flour tortilla and a dose of the Bell’s signature seasoned beef. On top of that go rice, nacho cheese sauce, sour cream and Fritos Flamin’ Hot Flavored Corn Chips.

Burger King floats new Butter Chicken

… If you’re in Canada. The Butter Chicken Crispy Sandwich is described as a crispy-fried chicken breast, topped withed with white onion slices and butter chicken sauce, on a toasted potato bun.

Pretty simple, really. The sammy also comes in a spicy version. You can also get the sauce on Poutine. All for a limited time only.

Wendy’s gets wings

Wendy’s is offering a new deal: A Crispy Chicken Sandwich free to users of the mobile app who order a regular menu items totalling $2 or more. Yet another ploy to get fans to use the app.

McDonald’s partners with Picachu and Pokémon

McD’s is bringing back its popular Pokémon Happy Meals. Last time they were offered, they sold out instantly. This time, the prize in the box is a booster pack of 4 new Pokémon game cards. There are 15 new cards in all. The new Meals are launching first in UK and Europe. No word, yet, when they’ll be available in North America.

Intl. Alert! BK Taiwan premieres Spiral German Sausage

Why a German specialty in Taiwan? You’d have to ask the folks at Burger King Taiwan. They’ve been up some pretty kooky shenanigans over the past year or so, trying to elevate their brand’s visibility above the competition.

The Spiral German Sausage Burger features a beef patty topped with American (Processed) cheese, a spiral-shaped German sausage, and barbecue sauce on a toasted sesame seed bun.

Chick-Fil-A débuts new look

CFA has released pictures of its take on the restaurant of the future. In fact, it’s one of 2 they’ll be testing in Atlanta in 2024. The outstanding features of the new store include, second floor kitchen, contactless service, and 4 drive-thru lanes that can accommodate up to 75 cars. Why Atlanta? You may recall, that’s the home place of CFA…

Baskin-Robbins scoops Game Night ice cream

It’s a brand new flavour and it’s actually like a mashup of several other fancy flavours: salted caramel ice cream dotted with M&M’s Minis, buttered-popcorn clusters, and a caramel-pretzel swirl.
