SONIC brings back the Garlic Butter Bacon Burger
SONIC is featuring its popular Garlic Butter Bacon Burger for a limited time (through December 26) at participating outlets across the U.S. (see photo, top of page). But this time it’s got more Garlic Butter, twice the bacon and not 1 but 2 slices of American (Processed) cheese, and it’s assembled on an upgraded toasted ‘bakery’ bun. AND… There’s a one-time half-price deal you can access through the website or the mobile app.
Wendy’s rolls out $1 Breakfast Biscuits
No kidding! It’s a special promo for the chain’s Egg & Cheese plus either Bacon or Sausage Biscuit. They’re Buttermilk Biscuits, topped with a fresh-cracked egg, Applewood Smoked Bacon or Savory Sausage and melted American (Processed) Cheese.
Get them at the store or online through the Wendy’s app, now through November 30. IMHO, two of the better breakfast biscuits currently available.
Baskin-Robbins reprises Christmas Turkey Cake
Just to refresh your memory, this is a full-sized ice cream cake in the shape of a turkey with two drumsticks, coated overall with a praline glaze and resting on a bed of white frosting. Customers can specify with flavours of BR Ice Cream go inside. AND… BR is now offering $5 off any cake purchase over $35 now through November 25.
Starbucks pours Holiday Lattés
The high-end coffee giant is headlining its holiday specials with a new Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latté served in the chain’s 2021 edition green, red and white holiday cups.
Also on the menu, returning faves Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulee Latté, Chestnut Praline Latté, Toasted White Chocolate Mocha and Irish Cream Cold Brew. In the eats department look for the returning Sugar Plum Danish, Cranberry Bliss Bar and Snowman Cookie. Plus a new Reindeer Cake Pop.
Dunkin’s reveals major Holiday Menu
Dunkin’s has announced a whole pile of new specials for the year-end holiday season including limited edition, small batch roasted Holiday Blend Coffee, a Peppermint-Mocha Signature Latté, a Toasted White Chocolate Signature Latté, and a White Mocha Hot Chocolate. To eat, try Chicken, Bacon and Cheese Croissant Stuffers, new maple-filled pancake Minis, or a new Cranberry Orange Muffin.
Reese’s put their foot in it
The people who brought us the iconic Peanut Butter Cup have gone big while staying home with their new foot-long PB Cup pack. That should be enough to quench anybody’s craving!
It contains 6 original PB Cups to hog or share. It’s called the Super King sleeve and it will be hitting the shelves at all the usual sources a little later this month.
Panera and AmEx collab on coffee deal
This is clearly a long term commitment for both players, since US American Express Consumer and Corporate Card Members can sign up for the deal between November 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022. You get membership in the MyPanera premiums plan plus unlimited hot coffee, hot tea or iced coffee every two hours – any size and flavor – with unlimited refills in-store or online using the MyPanera account. Mountain Dew floats Gingerbread for holidays
MTN Dew has just released its Christmas celebration flavour: Gingerbread Snap’d Dew. It’s described as, “Dew with a blast of artificial gingerbread flavor,” and distinguishes itself from the other sodas in the cooler by being completely clear and colourless. Available at all the usual outlets now while supplies last.
International Alert: BK Indonesia rocks ‘Purple Seoul’
Burger King Indonesia is the latest major chain’s Asian branch to go a little crazy on its limited time menu… It’s Purple Soeul month, featuring Purple Soeul Beef and Chicken Burgers.
They’re unmistakable, with purple buns and a healthy dollop of Purple Cabbage slaw. Also on the PS menu are: a Blueberry Sundae, a Purple Fusion Yogurt-Ice Cream-Blueberry whip, and a Blueberry Super Float. Till November 30th, if you’re travelling in Indonesia this month…
