Pizza Hut UK serves up Gravy Pies
Based on something I’ve been seeing here, there and everywhere this past week, it appears that Christmas this year – at least in the UK, is all about the Gravy. We told you about a new UK Gravy Boat Fried Chicken Sandwich in a recent post and now Pizza Hut UK is floating (literally) a seasonal-special Pie that uses Gravy as a base, topped with Shredded Rotisserie Chicken, Crispy Bacon and Sage & Onion Stuffing. The Christmas Pizza is available now at Pizza Hut UK delivery locations while supplies last.
Snack Treat ‘Kits’ make great gifts…
Hershey’s had launched a new S’Mores Holiday kit featuring: two mugs, Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, Marshmallows, and Four graham crackers; enough to make two S’Mores without leaving any leftover ingredients you won’t use in any other recipes.
… OREOs and Reese’s follow suit
OREOs and Reese’s are also well-known for their seasonal creative specials and novelties. OREOs’ Holiday Milk Shake kit is available at Walmart.com for ‘just’ $15.98. Reese’s Mug Cake kits include souvenir China Mugs, bake up in the mugs in about 2 minutes, and are available in stores. They’re also available in Hershey’s Kisses flavour.
Novelty Alert! Mountain Dew débuts ‘Can Pump’
The Mountain Dew’s test kitchen and marketing department have been exercising their hyper-active imaginations lately, bringing out a number pf new novelty ideas ‘just in time for the Holidays. One of their best is a new ‘Can Pump’, designed to re-pressurize opened Soda cans to preserve the fizz. It comes in a variety of other brand-design-decorated variations, too, if your allegiances vary. The Fizz Keeper is available at Walmart’s website for (US)$10.40.
