Wing Stop sells out new Chicken Sandwiches
We told you in this space last week that Wing Stop was getting on the crispy deep fried Chicken Breast Sandwich bandwagon. The new WS offering sold out a month’s supply in a matter of 6 days – a mere 2 days at some locations.
The base sammy is virtually identical to the iconic Chick-Fil-A original: chicken breast, pickles and a soft bun. But Wing Stop has a built-in advantage in that it already had a whole tribe of dipping/dredging sauces at the ready.
Popeye’s ‘yes, but’s competition with Fried Chicken deal
There’s been a lot of Fried Chicken action on Food Main Street lately. For a limited time, you can get five pieces of the Louisiana Kitchen’s fried Signature Bone-In Chicken (mixed) for $6.99.
The catch is, you have to order using the website or the mobile app, at a particpating location. Folks jumped on the deal back in June when it was offered as part of the chain’s 50th Anniversary celebration.
Panda Express intros new Plant-based Orange Chicken
It’s a limited time collab with Beyond Meats (see photo, top of page). Think Panda’s original Orange Chicken with Beyond Chicken protein. Starting September 26, order a Beyond The Original Orange Chicken bowl when you order online at the regular price using the code ‘BEYONDOC’. White Castle serves up new Sliders
The new 1921 Ghost Slider and 1921 BBQ Bacon Slider are new takes on the limited-time variants of the 1921 Slider rolled out 4 months back.
The Ghost features grilled caramelized onions, a slice of ghost pepper jack cheese, a Roma tomato slice, lettuce, and pickles. The BBQ Bacon Slider gets a lettuce, pickles, a slice of Roma tomato, grilled caramelized onions, bacon, a smoked cheddar cheese slice, and Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ Sauce. Until November 27.
Shake Shack does BOGO this weekend
A shame that we didn’t hear of this one early enough to include it in last week’s Fast Food Week. But you can still get in on the savings and stuffings until closing tomorrow. They call it the BURGERBUDS promo, and you get a second ShackBurger free when ordering online from the website or mobile app using the code: ‘BURGERBUDS’. Krispy Kreme rolls out Churro-Themed collection
KK has unveiled a new collection of serrated sinkers including: Cinnamon Sugar, Cookies and Creme, and Dulce De Lèche.
