Yes! There really IS a “Maggie J”!
Maggie James and her partner, Erin Nichols, both graduated from
the highly respected Culinary Skills Program at the Algonquin
College’s School of Hospitality in 2011.
After working and volunteering in a number of commercial, institutional
and restaurant Kitchens, each came, independently, to the same
conclusion: The future belongs to those who grab it by the Buns
and make their own Bread!
And Smoked and Cured Meats. And Sausages. And Classic Roasts.
And BBQ Favourites. And old fashioned Dipping Sauces.
And, as time goes by, who knows What Else?
Thus was born the Maggie J’s idea.
And we called it Maggie J’s because both of the principles agreed that
“Erin N’s” just didn’t have the right ring to it.
We’re making traditional favourites fresh every day and serving them
in contemporary combinations to create a casual catered dining
experience you can’t get anywhere else!
