Wendy’s is adding a new Big Bacon Cheddar Cheese Burger to its Made To Crave menu. But the real news here is the début of a new Cheddar Cheese Bun (see photo, top of page). The burger itself boasts Wendy’s signature square beef patty, applewood-smoked bacon, a custom bacon sauce, crispy onions, American cheese, and a creamy cheddar cheese spread. We wonder where the new Cheddar Cheese Bun will show up next…

BK Japan, noted for their frequent novelty menu item releases, has come out with a pair of what it calls Big Mouth Burgers. That doesn’t mean you have to talk a good game to rate one; it just means they’re designed to meet the demands of the biggest appetite.

The Cheese & Cheese Big Mouth Burger and the Super Spicy Big Mouth Burger both feature three flame grilled all-beef patties. The Cheese & Cheese adds a jalapeño cheese sauce, three slices of cheddar cheese, and a shredded three-cheese blend. The Spicy Big Mouth is adorned with a green Jalapeño Cheese Sauce. All on a sesame seed bun.

And that’s the skinny…
