Kickin Chicken Breakfast - © 2020 IHOPThe IHOP Kickin’ Maple Chicken Breakfast…

IHOP has new ‘Kickin’ breakfasts…

For a limited time, IHOP is offering what it calls the the Kickin’ Maple Chicken Breakfeast and the Crepes & Cakes Breakfeast. The Maple Chicken deal; includes: a Buttermilk Crispy-fried Chicken Breast, 4 strips of Hickory-smoked Bacon, 2 Eggs, Hash Browns, 2 Buttermilk Pancakes, and Toast. The Pancakes and Chicken are drizzled with new Maple Sweet & Spicy Syrup.  With three starches, this is definitely the way for pro football players, lumberjacks and body builders to start their day.

… Fancies up with Crème Brulée Pancakes

IHOP’s Crème Bruleé Pancakes are actually 2 of the Hop’s regular Buttermilk Pancakes with Vanilla Crème brulée Custard and Caramelized Sugar Crystals in between and garnished with Whipped Topping. They’re available separately or as part of a combo. For a limited time only, of course.

Denny’s brings back $2-$4-$6-$8 Value menu

The menu includes: For $2: a New Biscuit, Gravy & Egg Breakfast; or a New Chocolate Hazlenut Crepe. For $4: a New Mozz (sticks) & Tots combo ; or an Everyday Value Slam. For $6: a New Classic Burger (a regular Beef Patty with Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onions, and Pickles served In a Brioche Bun, with wavy-cut Fries on the side); or a New Chorizo Burrito (Chorizo Sausage, Scrambled Eggs, Cheddar Cheese, and Pico de Gallo, with Hash Browns and Salsa on the side). Burger King’s Impossible Croissan’wich goes national

Featuring the new Impossible Foods Sausage Patty, this Breakfast Sandwich drew great praise form diners during a test earlier this year. It starts with a toasted Croissant, and adds a seasoned, plant-based Breakfast Patty from Impossible Foods and 2 Omelet-style Eggs plus a slice of American (Processed) Cheese. BK is offering a total of up to free 100,000 Impossible Croissan’wiches, via a special coupon through the BK App, with a minimum $1 purchase at participating locations through June 30.

Arby’s freshens up Starch menu with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries

The guys who ‘have the meats’ now also have an arguably healthier Starch on the menu: the Sweet Potato Waffle Fry. Not a replacement for Arby’s famous Spicy Curly Fries, these little gems are dusted with both Sugar and Salt and are available for a limited time only at all the chain’s outlets through the summer. What, we wonder, will Arby’s next ‘Fries’ innovation be?

Dairy Queen blasts out new Piñata Party Blizzard

DQ celebrates 80 years in business with a special Piñata Party Blizzard. It’s chock full of sinful delights including: Pink Confetti Frosting and Confetti Cake pieces, mixed with Vanilla Soft Serve. The deal, really, is the Candy Core. The whole thing is crowned with Whipped Topping and Edible Glitter. Get one while they last, at participating outlets.

Dunkin’s pours two new summer refreshers

The Doughnut chain has unveiled two new iced beverages for summer, at participating locations across the chain. The new clear quenchers – Strawberry Dragonfruit and Peach Passion Fruit – are described as blends of iced Green Tea and Real Fruit Concentrates. That makes them good sources of vitamins B3, B5, B6 and B12, according to the chain’s official news release. They’ll b e available through July 28.

Novelty Alert! BK wants you to get up and dance

Burger King is giving away $1 Whoppers to customers who post a video of themselves dancing on TikTok. When you post, you must use the hashtag #WhopperDance with a specific sound (?) to enter. Burger King will direct message you on TikTok with a personalized promo code to redeem at your fave BK location and claim your $1 Whopper. IMHO? Almost too much rigamarole to go through to make the deal worthwhile. The promo lasts through June 28.

And that’s the skinny…

… On what’s going to be making some of us a little fatter through the coming days and weeks. Back in 7 with a, fresh new edition of Fast Food Week!
