Chance The Rapper Tweeted his morning affirmation back on May 4,
challenging Wendy’s to bring back Spicy Chicken Nuggets.
Wendy’s challenged him and his followers to
rack up 2 million ‘Likes’. They did.
Wendy’s Spicy Nuggets coming back in August
Remember when Chance The Rapper beseeched Wendy’s to bring back their Spicy Chicken Nuggets for a summer encore (see image above)? And Wendy’s challenged him and his Twitter followers to compile 2 million likes to earn the return? Well, they got their 2 million likes within a day and a half, and the much-loved snack will be back for an as-yet-to-be-undetermined period of time starting August 9, at the promo price of 4 for (US)$1.
Subway takes another bold step into the Bread Box
The oft-maligned Sandwich chain recently announced it would become the first Fast Food purveyor to bake King’s Hawaiian Rolls in-store for a new line of menu items. Now, it’s announced it will bake Chiabatta Rolls for the fist time, as the base for yet another Sandwich line including: Caprese Ciabatta, with a double layer of Mozzarella Cheese, Spinach, Tomatoes, Onions, Basil Pesto, and a new Balsamic Sauce; Italian with New Fresh Mozzarella featuring Genoa Salami, Mozzarella, Spinach, Tomatoes, Onions, Banana Peppers and Balsamic Sauce; Chicken Pesto with Fresh Mozzarella, showcasing Rotisserie-style Chicken, Fresh Mozzarella, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions, and a new Basil Pesto Sauce; and Garlic Steak & Provolone paying homage to Beef with Shaved Steak, ‘Secret’ Sub Spice Seasoning, Provolone Cheese, Tomatoes, Onion, Green Peppers, and a new Creamy Garlic Aioli. Dunkin’s adds a Hershey’s themed menu for summer…
The trio of new items includes: a Kit Kat Coolatta, being a Vanilla Bean Coolatta garnished with Kit Kat Candy Bar pieces; Heath-flavored Coffee with Milk Chocolate and English Toffee, and Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Coffee Flavouring, featuring White Chocolate and Chocolate Cookie tastes; and a Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Donut based on a square-shaped Doughnut filled with Vanilla-flavored Buttercream and topped with Hershey’s Cookies ‘N’ Creme Crumbles.
…Introduces new Breakfast Sandwich
Sweet BBQ Bacon Breakfast Sandwich (see photo top of page) is a limited-time menu item, based on Dunkin’s regular Breakfast Sandwich, features Egg and Cheese with Extra Bacon that’s been coated in Sweet BBQ seasoning. Sounds good for the ‘morning after’ just about anything.
Eggos and Spiderman? Why not?
Eggos is offering limited time tie-in with the Spiderman: Far From Home movie. What could they possibly do to give the two entities something on common? Produce limited-edition Wed-shaped Waffles. The full list of Spidey-inspired goods you’ll find in stores include: Spidey Berry Pop Tarts, Mixed Berry Eggo Web-shaped Waffles, Cheez-Its with Spidey-imprinted Cracker designs, Keebler Amazing Vanilla Cupcake Fudge Strike Cookies, and Kellogg’s Spiderman: Far From Home Fruit Snacks. Various Kellogg’s products will feature special limited-edition Spidey-themed packages that can be scanned to unlock interactive Spiderman games.
Starbuck’s adds three new Iced Tea Lemonades
Starbucks always has something new up its sleeve in the way of cold Beverages. The most recent offering includes three new Iced Tea Lemonades in partnership with Teavana, including: Peach Green Tea, Guava White and Blueberry Black Tea. The premium Coffee giant is also adding a new Iced Cocoa Cloud Macchiato incorporating Cloud Foam, a hint of Toffee Nut syrup, and Espresso topped with Caramel and Mocha Drizzles. This one is available hot, as well.
