Wendy’s rolls out new Maple Bacon Chicken Sammy
Here’s something special from the guys with the square Burger Patties… It seems they also have the Buns, presenting their new Maple Bacon Chicken Sandwich on a luscious-looking Croissante rather than a conventional Bun. Inside you get a crispy-fried Chicken Breast Filet, Swiss Cheese, and three strips of Applewood-Smoked Bacon. And a drizzle of extra Maple on top.
Church’s Chicken offers Holi-Deals
For (US)$15, you can get the Family Deal, your choice of either 12 pieces of Original or Spicy Fried Chicken or 12 Honey-Butter Biscuit Tenders, plus two large sides. The (US)$5 personal Platter includes three Honey Butter Biscuit Tenders, two regular sides, and a Honey-Butter Biscuit. While supplies last, of course.
McD’s launches new Signature Burgers…
You can get the Mushroom & Swiss treatment on either a quarter pound Beef Patty, a piece of Buttermilk Crispy Chicken or Artizan Grilled Chicken. The ‘treatment’ is a topping ensemble including: Seasoned Mushrooms, Creamy Bistro Aioli, Swiss Cheese, and Crispy Onion Strings, all stacked on a toasted Artisan Roll.
… Brings back Holiday Pies
Holiday Pies are shaped just like regular McD’s dessert pies, but that’s where the resemblance ends. The crust will remind you of Sugar Cookies with multi-coloured Sprinkles, topped White icing. Inside there’s everybody’s favourite – Vanilla Custard Pastry Cream.
KK Unveils Holiday Doughnuts
It’s become something of a tradition. Krispy Kreme, which pounds out standard Glazed Doughnuts year round gets festive at this time of year with a collection of special offerings. This season, they’ve got: the Santa Belly – A chocolate Kreme-filled shell Donut dipped in Red Icing with a Candy Buckle; the Holiday Plaid – An Original Glazed Donut dipped in Icing and decorated in a red and green plaid design.; and the Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles Donut – A chocolate iced ring donut with multi-coloured sprinkles. Not to mention the Cinnamon Swirl unveiled earlier. You have to see ’em to truly appreciate ’em!
Dunkin’s unveils Holiday Menu specials
Leading the parade is the new Holiday Spice Bacon Breakfast Sandwich (teaser image, main page) with a double portion of Bacon flavoured with Brown Sugar, Cinnamon, and Nutmeg atop a Fried Egg and a slice of American (Processed) Cheese. Team it up with any of Dunkin’s Coffees, flavoured with a shot of White Chocolate flavouring, and for dessert, choose either a Hershey’s Kisses or a Dear Santa Donut.
Cinnamon Rolls back on the BK menu
Last seen at Burger King in 2012, Cinnamon Rolls are back, at least for the holidays. They’re actually Cinni Minnis, that come with White Icing dipping sauce at four for (US)$1.49. Treat your sweet tooth!
Subway bakes up Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies
Specially for the holidays (i.s.- for a limited time only) Subway is adding Mint Chocolate Chip Cookies top its dessert roster. They’re big chocolate cookies full of Mint and Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips. Prices vary, starting at (US)$0.49 each.
